The more I think about it I am convinced that we need to more tightly integrate our Smart Client apps with the web based ones. In other words I think our Shell should host the IE web browser control in an Tabbed MDI fashion (like VS.NET). I believe this will provide for a more cohesive solution in terms of the user experience, and in terms of controlling the applications security context.
